Winter 2022/23 Free Agent Registration

Calling all free agents in Winnipeg! Are you looking to play adult recreational hockey this winter, but don't have a team? 

The WRHL is currently building out free-agent-based teams for the upcoming winter season and is offering an early-bird registration discount until August 1. Past WRHL free agent teams have turned individual players into close friends, with multiple former free agent teams turning into a regular team that stays together during future seasons! 

Register by August 1 and receive an early bird discount of $50 off your winter registration costs. 

All free agents are placed on a team that will play a minimum of 28 games (including 2 playoff games). Each team will be limited to no more than 16 players.

All players will receive:

  • 28 (minimum) games with 3 x 15-minute periods
  • WRHL Jersey
  • WRHL Socks
  • Access to WRHL player perks

Payment Information

  • Fees are $666.67+GST
  • Early bird discount available for only first 30 registrants or August 1, whichever is first
  • Payment schedule (+GST)
    • $100 due at registration
    • $188.89 due September 1
    • $188.89 due October 1
    • $188.89 due November 1 
  • Payment method after initial deposit can be made via e-transfer or credit card
