Welcome to the Winnipeg Rec Hockey League (WRHL) Drop-In Program! If you're looking to get on the ice without the commitment of a full season, you're in the right place. Below, you'll find key details about how to register and what to expect.

How to Register

1. Visit the Registration Portal: Navigate to our online registration system.
2. Select the Drop-In Program: Choose the date and time you wish to play.
3. Fill Out Your Details: Enter your contact information, skill level, and other relevant details.
4. Payment: Make the payment online to secure your spot. Note: Payments are non-refundable.
5. Confirmation: Once registered, you'll receive a confirmation link. Save it—you might need it later.

What You Need to Know

Game Format

• Two 25-minute periods: Running time (one hour slot)
• One referee
• Game Format by Number of Skaters
  • 18+ skaters: 5-on-5
  • 14-17 skaters: 4-on-4
  • 13 or fewer skaters: 3-on-3

Note: The referee has the final say on the game format. WRHL rules apply, but these are "pick-up" games.

Team Arrangements

• Teams are pre-arranged based on skill levels and the number of registrants.
• Roster information is sent to the referee.
• Trades and swaps are allowed if both teams agree.

Equipment Requirements

• Mandatory: CSA-approved helmet with visor or cage, skates, hockey pants, and shin-pads.
• Recommended: Shoulder pads, neck guards, and elbow pads.
• Jerseys: Bring one light and one dark jersey for team assignments.

Terms & Conditions

• No Refunds: Payments are non-refundable.
• Game Cancellation: Credit will be provided for future drop-in games.
• Facility Changes: WRHL reserves the right to adjust game facilities and structures.
