The WRHL is thrilled to announce it has collaborated with True North Sports & Entertainment, the hockey for all centre, and Jets Hockey Development to offer a dual-programming opportunity for beginner hockey players.

A supportive and passionate team are here to guide you on the beginning of your journey to becoming a full time rec hockey player
This program is designed for adults who want to get on the ice to improve their basic hockey skills. The goal of this program will be to help players build confidence in their game no matter their ability.
The Simple Two-Part Process to Become a Rec Hockey Player
After joining the Jets Hockey Development program for their initial programming, players will have the opportunity to join a brand new WRHL offering that is specifically focused on beginner players.
Step 1: Jets Hockey Development Program
Step 2: WRHL Recreational Program
For those that have previously graduated from the Jets Hockey Development program or feel comfortable in their abilities to join our inclusive recreational program focused on beginner hockey and development, you can register directly with us for Step 2 first without joining the Jets Hockey Development Program.
STEP 1: JETS HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT
STEP 2: WRHL RECREATIONAL PROGRAM

[Step 1] The Specifics: Jets Hockey Development
Skating topics will work to have players become more balanced and understand effective use of their skating through detailed instruction. Puck skills will work towards players being more confident with the puck so they can control the play and help create offense for their team. We will also work on drills that incorporate concepts based on position to help players learn about details for forwards and defensemen. Topics such as timing, support, breakout options, and offensive zone entries will be addressed.
