Summer 2022 Registration

SEASON DETAILS

• The season runs between May and August 2022^†
• Games are played:
  • Days: 
    • Pre-May Long Weekend: All days, limited Friday & Saturday
    • Post-May Long Weekend:  Sundays-Thursdays (no Fridays + Saturdays)
  • Start Times: 6:30pm – 10:30pm*
• All teams make playoffs and are guaranteed two playoff games minimum at no additional cost

GAME DETAILS

• 3 x 15-minute stop-time periods with one flood (90-minute game slots)
• 3-on-3 and shootout if necessary and if time permits
• 2 Referees and 1 Timekeeper
• Playoffs are best-of-three series

SCHEDULING PERKS^††

• Pick one free scheduling perk out of:
  1. Favourite Region:90%+ of games in your region
     • North: Games at Iceplex, Seven Oaks, and Gateway
     • South: Games at Iceplex, The Rink, and Wayne Flemming
  2. Favourite Time: 50%+ of games in your ideal time range
     • Early: Games starting 9:30 pm and earlier
     • Late: Games starting after 9:30 pm
  3. Favourite Day of Week: 50%+ of games on your preferred day of week
  4. Avoid Day of Week: 100% guarantee to avoid a specific day of the week 
• Pick additional scheduling perks at $200 for each perk (just $12.50 per player based on a 16-player team)

WRHL PERKS

• The WRHL takes care of paying and assigning officials – you just show up to play!
• Player insurance is included at no additional cost
• Trophies are awarded for League Champions
• Receive free Nacho’s at the Press Box for any game your team goes penalty-free

FEES

• Average cost of less than $300 per player^+GST (works out to an average of $16.25^+GST per player per game)**
• Registration options include:

  • CLICK HERE - 18 games guaranteed including at least two playoff games -- $5,300^+GST
  • CLICK HERE - 20 games guaranteed including at least two playoff games -- $5,800^+GST

SUMMER DRAWS & PRIZING

• Register your team and automatically earn a ballot in our Summer Draw***
• Fifteen prizes worth over $6,000 to be won, including:
  • Four (4) draws for two custom hockey sticks from NO NAME HOCKEY ($1800 value)
  • Free set of Jerseys from Keener Sportswear ($1600 value)
  • Eight (8) draws of an additional scheduling perk ($1600 value)

BONUS BALLOTS

• On top of the ballot you receive for registering, earn additional ballots to increase your odds of winning prizes:
  • Loyalty Bonus: Winter 2021/22 teams who register for summer receive an additional (1) ballot
  • Deposit Bonus: Make a $1,000 deposit by March 1 to earn three (3) additional ballots
  • Pay-in-Full Bonus: Pay-in-full by April 1 to earn five (5) additional ballots
  • Referral Bonus^‡ : Bring a new team to the WRHL to earn five (5) additional ballots

PAYMENT SCHEDULE & OPTIONS

• Register early and pay-in-full by April 1 to maximize ballots in your prize pool, or…
• Take advantage of our interest-free monthly payment plan option:
  • $1,000 due at registration
  • 20% due March 1
  • 20% due April 1
  • 20% due May 1
  • Remaining balance due June 1
• Conveniently assign player fees to individual players through HockeyShift to avoid Team Managers needing to collect fees
  • Player receipts are issued automatically when payment made through distributed payments
• Fees can be paid by:
  • Visa through HockeyShift
  • Mastercard through HockeyShift
  • E-transfer to payments@winnipegrechockeyleague.com
